Police have released images of a man they wish to speak with in relation to the armed robbery of a service station in Koongal last night.
At around 9.20pm a man approached the business on Thozet Road riding a child-sized scooter.
He then went inside the store and entered a staff area where he threatened a 22-year-old female attendant with a nearby pair of scissors, demanding she open the till.
The woman complied and the man removed a sum of cash before demanding cigarettes.
The man then fled the store with the money and cigarettes, riding the scooter towards Rockonia Road.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm tall with a solid build and black hair cut in a distinctive mohawk style.
The man was wearing an orange high-vis jumper with dark coloured cargo pants, work boots and was carrying a duffel bag (pictured).

Police have charged three people following the alleged dangerous driving of a stolen vehicle in the Oakey area today.
At about 2.30pm police observed a stolen Volkswagen Polo heading east on the Warrego Highway at Bowenville. It will be alleged the vehicle crossed to the wrong side of the Warrego Highway at high speed and continued toward Oakey.
At 3.15pm the vehicle attended at a service station at Biddeston and left without paying for the fuel when police arrived.
Police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device around 3.25pm on Oakey Crosshill Road.
The vehicle eventually stopped at a rural property on Oakey Biddeston Road at 3.30pm
Three people were taken in to custody.
It will be further alleged the vehicle was stolen from a Harristown street in the early hours of Thursday, August 9.

Police have charged a teenage boy after the alleged robbery of a bottle shop at Meadowbrook this afternoon.
It will be alleged around 6pm the boy entered the Logandowns Drive business and threatened a staff member before leaving with three bottles of alcohol.
The boy was located a short time later by police at the Woodridge Train Station.
It will be further the boy had attended the same store on Monday, August 6, and stole six bottles of alcohol.
A 13-year-old Bethania boy has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of stealing.

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a man died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash this afternoon in Marcoola.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 1pm a motorcycle was travelling north on the Sunshine Coast Motorway just north of the airport exit, when the rider has lost control and fallen from the bike.
A 45-year-old Burpengary man died at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital a short time later.
Investigations are continuing.
