Detectives have charged a man with indecent dealing relating to incidents that allegedly occurred in the North Brisbane area in the 1990s.
It will be alleged a man inappropriately touched a girl known to him.
Police believe the man previously worked in the Clayfield, Virginia and Nudgee as a swimming and triathlon coach.
A 55-year-old man has been charged with three counts of indecent dealing with a child under the age of 16 and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 4.

Gold Coast detectives investigating a shooting at Carrara in January this year are appealing for public assistance to locate a vehicle believed to be linked to the case.
Investigators believe a man and a woman attended a Plateau Crescent address in a green 2003 Daewoo with Queensland registration KIM 891(pictured) around 4pm on January 8.
A 44-year-old male resident opened his front door and was confronted by a man and a woman armed with a firearm.
The man attempted to hold the front door closed to stop the man and the woman entering at which time the firearm was discharged through the door striking the resident in the arm.
Investigations by detectives indicate the man did not know the offenders.
Police have released a photo of a green 2003 Daewoo they are seeking with Queensland registration KIM 891 believed to be involved in the incident.

Detectives have charged a man following investigations into approximately 100 suspicious fires in the Capricornia region this year.
It will be alleged that beginning in May a number of fires were deliberately lit in the areas of Alton Downs, Gracemere and Mount Morgan.
As a result of their investigations officers executed a search warrant on a property in Mount Morgan on August 8.
A 19-year-old Mount Morgan man has been charged with seven counts of setting fire to crops or growing plants.
He is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 27.
Investigations are continuing.

Police have released CCTV images of a vehicle that may be involved in a stealing with violence offence that occurred at Purga on Tuesday August 7.
Around 1.15pm, a man gained entry to a vehicle parked at Hardings Paddock Reserve (located along Carmichaels Road) and assaulted a woman before stealing her mobile phone.
The man left the scene in the depicted white four-wheel-drive and travelled from Carmichaels Road along Ipswich Boonah Road in an unknown direction.
The male driver is described as being aged in his late 50s to early 60s, approximately 183cm tall, Caucasian with a tanned complexion, a heavy build with grey balding hair.
The woman received scratches and bruising as a result of the assault.
Police are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist with their enquiries to contact them.
