Detectives investigating the attempted robbery of an Inala service station last month have released vision of a man they hope to speak to about the incident.
Shortly after 12.30am on Saturday, June 22, man walked into the Freeman Road business armed with a crowbar.
The man walked up to the counter and produced a crowbar before demanding money from the attendant.
The attendant refused, and the man left the address.
No property was taken during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.

Robbery, Sunnybank
Police are investigating a robbery at a home in Sunnybank this afternoon.
Around 2pm, a woman arrived at her Dunedin Street home and was confronted by a man who demanded her handbag.
During a scuffle over the handbag, the woman sustained a minor injury to her left arm.
The man fled the scene with another man in a white SUV style car.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam or CCTV footage to contact police.

Unlawful wounding charges, Heritage Park
A 15-year-old boy has been charged following an incident in Heritage Park this afternoon.
Around 3.15pm, a 26-year-old man went to the aid of an elderly man on a mobility scooter who had been accosted by three teenagers on pathway behind a service station on Waller Road.
A physical altercation occurred between the 26-year-old man and the youths, then one of the teenagers produced a knife and stabbed the 26-year-old man.
The 26-year-old man then restrained the 15-year-old and lead him into the service station where 000 were contacted.
The 26-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 15-year-old boy was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

Road closures for the 2019 Groundwater Country Music Festival, Broadbeach
Gold Coast police would like to remind motorists of upcoming road closures due to the 2019 Groundwater Country Music Festival being held at Broadbeach.
The event will be held over three days, from Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28, with more than 65,000 spectators expected to attend this year’s event.
Police have been working with event organisers and stakeholders to ensure the music festival is conducted safely and with minimum disruption to traffic.
Motorists are advised that travelling anywhere near the Broadbeach CBD area during the event may result in delays due to the diversions that will be in place.
Major Events Group Inspector Troy Penrose said police will be present during the three-day event.
“Officers will be out and about to ensure the public’s safety and minimal disruption to local residents and businesses.”

Drugs and weapon charges, Wide Bay
Detectives from Taskforce Maxima and Maryborough Patrol Group have arrested 20 people following a week of action targeting drug activity in the Wide Bay area.
As part of Operation Romeo Doctrine, a tactical operation targeting various Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCG) police executed 11 search warrants in Maryborough and Hervey Bay on July 17 and 18.
Twenty people were charged with 46 offences including possession of dangerous drugs amphetamine, ice and cannabis.
As part of the raids, police seized two firearms including a shotgun and a rifle.
A 33-year-old Hervey Bay man was arrested on a return to prison warrant and charged with possession of dangerous drugs. He was further charged by Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch with armed robbery, deprivation of liberty and unlawful use of a motor vehicle relating to an incident in Bundaberg on July 10, 2019.

Update 5 – Sunnybank shooting
A 38-year-old man wanted over investigations into the shooting of a man and woman at Sunnybank on Saturday, June 22 is tonight in custody.
The man handed himself into police this afternoon on North Stradbroke Island and was later charged at the Brisbane Watchhouse with two counts of attempted murder.
He will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on tomorrow July 23.

Armed robbery, Virginia
Police are investigating after a man robbed a business in Virginia this evening before leaving with a sum of money.
At about 8pm, a man has allegedly entered a business on the corner of Nixon Lane and Toombul Road in Virginia and threatened a staff member with a firearm.
The female staff member cooperated with the man before he left in an unknown direction with a sum of money.
Police attended the scene and commenced patrols with the assistance of dog squad and Polair which were unsuccessful.
Police are seeking anyone who may have seen the incident or a man leaving the area just after 8pm to come forward and contact police.
No one was injured in the incident and investigations are continuing.

Trespass charges, Bowen
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) arrested seven people following protest activity at a port facility near Bowen this morning.
Just after 6am, police responded to reports up to 40 protesters were impeding road and rail access to the Abbot Point Road facility.
A 28-year-old Victorian man and four male French nationals aged 29, 30, 32 and 39 were charged with one count of trespassing on a railway.
Two Victorian women, aged 20 and 22, were charged with one count each of trespassing on a railway, obstruct railway and contravene a police direction.
They are all due to appear in the Bowen Magistrates Court on September 3.
The QPS supports lawful and peaceful protest and is committed to working with groups to plan and facilitate lawful activities.
Drug enforcement operation, Sunshine Coast
Police have charged seven people with a number of drug offences after an operation on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday night.
Officers from the Tactical Crime Squad and detectives, as well as drug detection dogs were utilised in response to reports of drug use and drug supply occurring within Sunshine Coast Safe Night Precincts.
An amount of cocaine, MDMA and cannabis was seized during the operation.
Seven people were charged with 11 offences including possession of dangerous drugs and other associated drug and property related charges.
They will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court next month.

Siege incident, Doolandella
A 41-year-old man has been fatally shot by police during a siege situation at a residence in Doolandella this morning.
Police were advised of a disturbance at the Cassowary Street house around 5.30am.
It was ascertained that a 41-year-old man was armed with a samurai sword with two women and four children, known to the man, inside the home.
Police negotiated with the man and subsequently, the woman and children were released from the home.
Around 7.45am, the man confronted officers with the sword outside the residence and an officer discharged his firearm, wounding the man.
Paramedics immediately treated the man, however, he was declared deceased at 8.15am.
The Ethical Standards Command has commenced a critical incident investigation into the police response with oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
