Pie emergency averted! No more pie-less nights. Race down to Cannon Hill and grab a piece of that Beefy’s magic. After departing the city in 2021, the iconic brand has reopened its doors at its original Wynnum Road.
The move comes after significant demand from Brisbane residents eager to once again indulge in Beefy’s famous pastries.
Jason Lyons, General Manager of Operations, expressed the company’s excitement at re-establishing a presence in Brisbane. He acknowledged the strong community support and the desire for Beefy’s to return to Cannon Hill. The availability of their former site presented a perfect opportunity to reconnect with their loyal customer base in the area.
Established in 1997 at Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast, Beefy’s has become a Queensland institution. Recently acquired by the Retail Food Group, which also owns Gloria Jeans and Donut King, the brand is poised for further growth.
The new Cannon Hill store is now open. It offers a delectable range of award-winning steak pies, sausage rolls, and sweet treats. Coffee lovers can also enjoy Di Bella coffee, and those with dietary restrictions will appreciate the Coeliac Australia-endorsed gluten-free options.
Beefy’s is hosting a special event on Friday, October 25th to celebrate the grand opening. Customers can enjoy “buy one get one free” Signature Steak Pies all day, including gluten-free varieties.
Limited-time deals will also be available, and the brand’s mascot, Mr. Beefy, will appear. The Cannon Hill team is eager to become an active part of the local community, with plans to support local businesses and participate in fundraising events.
This return to Brisbane marks an exciting new chapter for Beefy’s, promising delicious pies and strong community engagement.
