Armed robbery, Park Avenue

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a service station in Park Avenue this morning.
Around 2am, a man entered a service station on Yaamba Road and produced a knife before demanding cash and tobacco.
The man has then left on foot down Boland Street in a westerly direction.
No one was physically hurt in the incident
Anyone who may know the man or has any information is urged to contact police.

Armed robberies, Booval

Police have arrested a man today following the investigation of two armed robberies at Booval.
It will be alleged around 8:20am a man produced a cut-throat razor at the male victim on Clifton Street, Booval and demanded his wallet, emptying the contents on the ground, taking an eftpos card and fled on foot.
The 61-year-old male victim was not injured.
Then around 8:30am it is alleged the man entered a retail store on South Station Road, Booval and attempted to buy a survival knife using the stolen eftpos card which was declined.
The man tried to leave without making payment and was stopped by a male employee and a male customer.
The man then assaulted the store employee at the door and went outside into the carpark where he assaulted another male customer with a small wooden club before fleeing on foot in the direction of Elliott Street, Booval.

PSPA revoked, Maryborough

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) in relation to an armed man in Maryborough.
The declaration was revoked at 2:30pm today after police resolved the matter without any incident.
A declaration was made at 3.35am after the man stated he had weapons and would use them on others.
Police were notified and immediately attended the scene, establishing a cordon of the area.
The PSPA declaration for Alice Street encompasses the area surrounding Alice Street to Adelaide Lane and boundaries of Bazaar Street, Anne Street and Lennox Street.
Specialist police and negotiators were on scene.
Local residents have been permitted to return home.

Three arrests, $2.3 million in drugs seized – Brisbane

Police have charged three people with drug trafficking after yesterday searching two Brisbane premises where weapons and $2.3 million worth of drugs were seized.
Yesterday detectives from the State Crime Command’s Major Organised Crime Squad executed a search warrant on an Oxley storage facility where four kilograms of MDMA, 30 boxes of diazepam and two handguns were found inside a storage shed.
A 24-year-old Brisbane woman attending the storage shed was found carrying nine kilograms of methylamphetamine and one kilogram of cocaine concealed in suitcases, with an approximate value of $1.5 million.
During the subsequent search of a second address, a Brisbane city hotel room, police located 60 kilograms of cannabis inside suitcases, along with one kilogram of methylamphetamine, a quantity of cocaine and an unknown quantity of cash believed to be approximately $100,000.

Break and enter offences, Logan

Police are investigating two break and enter offences which occurred early this morning in the Logan area.
Around 1.40am, three people forced entry to a licensed premises on Mount Warren Boulevard, Mount Warren using rocks and sticks.  A short time later, the three people left the store with a quantity of liquor, heading in a southerly direction in a silver hatchback.
Around 2am, three people attended the rear of a licenced premises on Miller Road, Logan Village, and forced their way in by damaging a security screen and smashing a glass door.  The three people removed a quantity of liquor and fled the scene in a grey Audi wagon.
Police have released the below image from the Mount Warren offence location of three people who police believe may be able to assist with their inquires.
Investigators are currently looking into whether the two offences are linked.

Police officer returned to operational duties, South Eastern Region

A male senior constable from South Eastern Region who was stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service will now return to operational duties.
The officer was stood down in March 2019 in relation to matters involving domestic and family violence. These matters have now been finalised with the officer receiving a disciplinary sanction.

Located marine equipment, Bribie Island

Brisbane Water Police are appealing to members of the public for any information in relation to two fuel cans and an EPIRB located off Bribie Island today.
Around midday, approximately 400 meters off Skirmish Point the found property (as pictured) were located by a vessel in the water.

Bandido OMCG members arrested for attempted murder

Detectives from State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Gangs Group Taskforce Maxima have arrested and charged the President and Sergeant of Arms of a North Brisbane Outlaw Motorcycle gang over the alleged attempted murder of a man earlier this year.
Officers executed search warrants at two addresses yesterday following a protracted investigation under Operation Romeo Host following the shooting of a 37-year-old man at Samsonvale on the July 13.
It will be alleged the 45-year-old Samsonvale man and a 29-year-old man from Morayfield were senior members of the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and shot the victim in the face and shoulder after a dispute over a debt.
His injuries at the time required surgery at the Redcliffe Hospital.
During the search of a Caboolture property yesterday a large amount of Bandido OMCG paraphernalia was seized.

Break and enter, Caloundra

Police have released CCTV images of a man who allegedly broke into a hostel and committed an indecent act towards a young woman in Caloundra on Sunday morning.
Around 4am a man has broken into a hostel on Omrah Avenue and entered several rooms.
In one room a 21-year-old woman was sleeping and was woken by the man performing an indecent act. The woman yelled at the man who then ran from the premises in an unknown direction.
The man (pictured below) is described as having a dark complexion, solid build, short dark hair and was wearing black shorts, dark coloured shoes and a silver necklace.
The man also has a tattoo on his upper chest/shoulder.
Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man to contact them.
