A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Hopevale on August 11.
At 5pm, the man was driving his vehicle on Aerodrome Road when it lost control and rolled.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. No one else was in the car at the time of the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit officers from Cairns will work to determine the cause of the crash.
Investigations are continuing.

Armed robbery, Maroochydore
Police are seeking public assistance to identify three people involved in an armed robbery at Maroochydore last night, August 11.
A delivery driver was looking for an address at Primary School Court when he was flagged down by a man and two women just after 8:30pm.
The man then produced a knife and demanded that the 19-year-old man exit the vehicle. The group then left the scene in the stolen vehicle.
The driver was not physically injured.
A short time later, the vehicle failed to stop when police attempted to intercept it on Nambour Road. The vehicle was found abandoned on Maroubra Street just before 10:30pm.
The man is described as a 19-20-year-old wearing short Adidas pants, dark long-sleeved shirt and a dark bucket cap. No descriptions are available of the accompanying women.

Update – Officer injured Labrador
A 52-year-old man has been charged in relation to an incident where it is alleged a police officer was injured after attempting to stop a vehicle involved in a petrol drive off at Labrador last week.
The man was arrested by police yesterday morning at a residence at Southport.
It is alleged around 11.15pm on August 8, a silver Toyota Aurion with stolen Queensland registration plates 387 ZDO attempted to do a petrol drive off at a Frank Street service station. The attendant exited the store and ran towards the vehicle to prevent it driving off.
Police on patrol were travelling north along Frank Street when they observed the commotion causing them to pull into the service station.
A 28-year-old male Constable exited the police vehicle and was walking past the police car’s bonnet when the offending vehicle allegedly accelerated striking him.

Armed robbery, Lakes Creek
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket last night, August 11.
At 7.15pm a man entered the Lakes Creek Road business with a tomahawk and demanded goods and money from two employees, a 20-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.
The man then left the shop with a sum of cash and cigarettes. No one was physically injured.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance with light blue eyes and tanned skin. He was wearing jeans, a black shirt with writing on it and a red bandana.
Officers and a police dog patrolled the surrounding area but were unable to locate the man.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.

Fatal crash, Bamaga
A man has died following a two vehicle crash south of Bamaga yesterday afternoon.
At 12.45pm, a dual cab travelling south towing a camper trailer and another dual cab travelling north, collided on Peninsular Development Road at Jardine River South, 30 km south of Bamaga.
The 68-year-old male driver of dual cab was pronounced deceased at the scene while one other person from the same vehicle was taken to Bamaga Hospital for treatment.
The 64-year-old male driver and the 38-year-old female passenger from the dual cab towing the campervan were also taken to Bamaga Hospital for treatment.
Forensic Crash Unit officers from Weipa will work to determine the cause of the crash.
Investigations are continuing.
Updated wounding charges, Acacia Ridge
Police have charged two men following investigations into an incident where a man was allegedly stabbed on Foote Street earlier this morning.
It will be alleged at 4.30am two men stabbed a 31- year-old Holland Park man in his thigh and hands after they entered a taxi demanding money.
Police located two men a short time later on Finlayson Street.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 22-year-old Acacia Ridge man and a 20-year-old Koongal man have been charged with one count each of unlawful wounding, attempted robbery with violence and unlawful entry of a vehicle at night and commit violence.
Both will appear at Richlands Magistrates court tomorrow morning.
Firearm incident, Kirwan
Townsville detectives are investigating after a firearm was discharged into a residence at Kirwan last night.
At 7.45pm officers attended a Gould Street family home after residence contacted police in relation to shots being fired at their car.
As they pulled into the driveway, a vehicle pulled up behind them and fired a number of shots into the rear of their Landcruiser.
Officers had been called to the same address on August 5 at around 11.50pm following reports a number of shots had been fired at a garage door.
An unknown person was seen leaving the area in a dark coloured vehicle.
No one was injured as a result of either of the incidents.
Police are appealing for anyone in the local area who noticed any suspicious activity, or who may have CCTV or dashcam vision to contact them.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.

Wounding, Acacia Ridge
Police are investigating the stabbing of a 31-year-old taxi driver at Foote Street, early this morning.
Around 4.30am the taxi driver received wounds to his thigh and hands after allegedly being stabbed by two men who entered the taxi and demanded money.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two men are assisting police with their enquiries.

Update – Serious traffic crash, Southport
An 18-year-old man has died following a serious traffic crash at Southport yesterday morning.
Police tracked a stolen utility to Southport, where it was allegedly driven dangerously before rolling at the intersection of Queen and Nerang streets at 9.30am.
The driver was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious injuries where he died last night.
A 17-year-old boy, the passenger, was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
He has since been charged with break and enter, burglary and possession of dangerous drugs.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses of the crash or the Toyota Hilux prior to the crash to contact police. Anyone with Dashcam vision of the vehicle is also requested to contact police.
The matter is being investigated by the Ethical Standards Command, with oversight from the Crime and Corruption Commission.

Armed robbery, Highgate Hill
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a delivery driver in Highgate Hill last night.
At 11pm the man had delivered an order to an address on Dornoch Terrace.
When he returned to his motorcycle, a man approached him from behind, threatened him with a knife and demanded his keys.
The delivery driver complied and the man then fled on the motorcycle towards Gladstone Road.
He is described as Asian in appearance, 180 cm tall and wearing a cream coloured dress robe.
No one was injured during the incident.
