Police are investigating after a woman was assaulted earlier this morning in Depot Hill.
A woman was walking on East Street around 1am this morning when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man threatened the woman with a knife and another man held her arms before the first man sexually assaulted her.
It is believed the pair then fled the area on foot.
The woman was taken to Rockhampton Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the men was last seen wearing grey jeans and a black hooded jumper with a skull on the front.
Police are seeking public assistance from anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.

Detectives are seeking to speak with the man (pictured) who may be able to assist them with the investigation into several break and enter offences at McDowall.
Police say these incidents are similar where a man has entered the homes of elderly residents stealing cash, credit cards and jewellery.

Men’s Shed donate handmade sleigh for QPS Gift Drive!

The QPS would like to offer sincere thanks to Sandgate and Districts Men’s Shed Inc. for the beautiful new sleigh they have built for the Commissioner’s 2018 Gift Drive.
The Gift Drive has been run by QPS staff for the last 26 years, with new donated toys being supplied to children at-risk or disadvantaged children over the Christmas period.
This year we hope to provide toys to nearly 1,500 children in need.
The new sleigh will be displayed in Police Headquarters, and staff will place their donations inside for collection by the Gift Drive team in late November.
Sandgate and Districts Men’s Shed Inc. have also donated some amazing handmade toys.

Fatal traffic crash, South Kolan
Police are investigating after a woman and girl died as a result of traffic crash from earlier today in South Kolan.
Initial investigations suggest that a car and a truck collided on Bundaberg Gin Gin Road just south of Kurths Road at 7.45am.
Sadly, a 46-year-old woman driving the car was pronounced deceased at the scene and a 12-year-old girl was transported to the Bundaberg Base Hospital in a critical condition and was pronounced deceased earlier this afternoon.
A 15-year-old boy who was also a passenger in the car received minor injures and the man driving the truck was no injured as a result of the crash.
Police are seeking anyone that was travelling in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage to contact with them.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Assaults occasioning bodily harm, Upper Coomera
Police are appealing to the public for assistance to help identify four men they wish to speak with in relation to a number of assaults at an Upper Coomera tavern on Friday night.
It will be alleged that around 9.20pm, a group of people were at the City Centre Drive business, where they have assaulted at least seven patrons, including a woman and elderly man.
To date, detectives from Coomera CIB have arrested and charged four people in relation to the assaults.
A 22-year-old Pimpama man has been charged with two counts of assaults occasioning bodily harm and one count of affray.
A 20-year-old Upper Coomera man has been charged with one count each of assaults occasioning bodily harm and affray.
Both are scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court today, November 5, 2018.

Dangerous operation charge, Caloundra
Police have charged a man after a Landcruiser was sighted travelling the wrong way on the Bruce Highway at Landsborough last month.
It will be alleged that around 10.40pm on October 3, the vehicle was travelling south in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway.
Police units patrolled in an attempt to locate and intercept the vehicle, however it had collided head on with a northbound Prime Mover.
The collision resulted in major damage to both vehicles, however both drivers suffered only minor injuries but were transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The driver of the Landcruiser returned a positive roadside breath test and had blood taken at the hospital.
The results show the driver returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.200 per cent.
A 57-year-old Palmview man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance.

Police have charged a man following the serious assault of another man in Bulimba in October.
A 21-year-old man was allegedly punched in the head following an altercation outside a hotel shortly after midnight on Oxford Street on October 21.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
A 26-year-old Macgregor man has been charged today with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm and was expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.

Fatal traffic crash, Caloundra
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Caloundra early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate just before 6.00am, a cyclist traveling west on Caloundra Road collided with a utility.
The cyclist, a 44-year old man from Little Mountain was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else was injured as a result of the crash.
Investigators are appealing to any members of the public who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam vision to contact police.

Update: Armed robbery and unlawful wounding, Nambour
Sunshine Coast detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy following investigations into an alleged robbery and unlawful wounding in Nambour on November 2.
At around 10pm an 18-year-old man left a premises on Short Street when he was approached by a male, who asked for a lift. The man complied and drove the passanger to Blackall Terrace.
The passenger then allegedly demanded the 18-year-old hand over his car. When the driver refused the passenger alledgely produced a knife and stabbed him several times in the upper body.
The passenger then allegedly fled the scene in the vehicle, a red 2013 Volkswagon Golf.
The 18-year-old man was treated at the scene before being transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a non-life threatening condition.
At approximately 6:45pm yesterday the stolen vehicle was located on Margaret Street in Millmerran. A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody a short time later.

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Oakey early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate at a time prior to 1.40am, a vehicle traveling on Oakey Crosshill Road collided with a power pole.
An unknown occupant of the vehicle died as a result of their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else was injured as a result of the crash.
Oakey Crosshill Road has been closed to traffic as investigators inspect the scene.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who witnessed the incident or who have information in relation to the matter to contact police.
