Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man for several alleged fraud offences across North Brisbane and Moreton last month.
Police will allege the man attended hardware stores at Rothwell, North Lakes, Morayfield and Carseldine, fraudulently obtaining a Honda mower valued at over a thousand dollars.
A 36-year-old Bald Hills man has been charged with five counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence, one count of forgery, one count of possessing items for forgery, one count of use thing to forge document and an unrelated weapons charge.
The man is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on November 29.

Fatal crash, Lockhart River
One person has died following a single vehicle crash at Lockhart River early this morning.
Police were notified around 5.30am by a member of the public who came upon the crash in an isolated location.
Preliminary investigations suggest the vehicle rolled over while travelling on Old Site Road.
The driver and sole occupant, a 29-year-old man from Yarrabah, died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Update – Murder charge, Maryborough
A man has been charged with murder by Maryborough detectives after a 58-year-old woman was located deceased yesterday.
Police were called to a Ferry Street motel around 5 am and a short time later the woman was located and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder.
He has been denied police bail and is due to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Monday, November 5.
Investigations are continuing.

Update – Homicide investigation, Loganlea
Detectives have charged a man with murder following the death of a 33-year-old Meadowbrook man in Loganlea this morning.
Around 1.45am police and emergency services were called a University Drive address following reports of an alleged altercation between two men.
A 33-year-old man received an injury to his neck as a result and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 27-year-old Annerley man has been charged with one count of murder.
He has also been charged with two counts of serious assault police after allegedly spitting in the faces of two female officers.
Both constables received medical treatment.
The man is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Investigators are asking any members of the public who have information in relation to this matter, who have not already provided it, to contact police.

Attempted murder charge, Gatton
Detectives have charged a man with attempted murder after a woman was seriously injured in Gatton yesterday.
Police were called to a Dwyer Street home around 1.35pm following reports of a disturbance.
Officers located a 29-year-old woman who had allegedly sustained several stab wounds to her torso and back. She was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
A 57-year-old Gatton man, who was taken into custody at the scene, has been charged with attempted murder and assault occasioning bodily harm.
He has been denied police bail and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday, November 5.
It is believed the man and woman are known to each other.

Burglary investigation, Ferny Grove
Police are investigating a burglary incident that occurred at Ferny Grove early this morning.
At about 1.50am, two men wearing balaclavas forcibly entered a house on McGinn Road and threatened the occupants with a knife.
The men conducted a search of the house and fled the scene a short time later in a small white sedan with a quantity of property.
No one was injured during the incident.

An emergency declaration declared in Upper Mount Gravatt this evening has now been revoked.
The matter was resolved without further incident and a man is assisting police with their inquires.

PSPA declared, Upper Mount Gravatt
Police have made an emergency declaration following an incident in Upper Mount Gravatt this evening.
Shortly before 3pm, police responded to an incident in Dowrie Street.
A declaration was made under the Public Safety and Preservation Act 6.50 pm and in encompasses the boundaries of Dawson Road, Belcaro Street to Perkins Street and through a park to Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road, Newnham Road and back to Dawson Road.
These roads are not closed; however, delays are expected.
Police are asking people within that area to shelter in place and follow police instructions.

Fraud appeal, North Brisbane and Moreton
Detectives are asking the public to help identify a man to assist with their inquiries into a number of fraud offences across North Brisbane and Moreton last month.
On at least six occasions the man attended hardware stores at Rothwell, North Lakes, Morayfield and Carseldine fraudulently obtaining a Honda mower valued at over a thousand dollars.
It is suspected that these mowers may have been sold through buy, swap and sell pages and members of the public may recognise the man.
Detectives believe the man may be able to help with their inquiries and anyone with information is asked to contact them.
Investigations are continuing.
