Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Ingham yesterday morning, October 3.
Around 6.35am, police responded to reports of a man collapsed at an address on Conroy Street.
Police attempted CPR however the 66-year-old Ingham man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Subsequent investigations indicate the man may have been involved in an altercation with another man early yesterday morning.
The other man is described as of dark complexion, approximately 183cm tall and of solid build.
Police are appealing for anyone who any witnesses or members of the public with dash cam vision from the area around Conroy Street to contact police.
There is no further information available at this time.

Hit and run, Parkinson
Police are investigating following a hit and run and attempted robbery on the Logan Motorway in Parkinson overnight.
At around 8pm a vehicle which had been reported stolen from Edens Landing on September 28 was seen weaving around traffic stopped at roadworks when it collided with a truck.
The four-wheel drive then reversed into a car before scraping down the right-hand side of another vehicle and reversing into a van, before coming to a stop.
The male driver then exited the four-wheel drive and attempted to enter a nearby vehicle before fleeing into nearby bushland with a woman who had been travelling as a passenger in the four-wheel drive.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 20s with short brown hair.
The woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in her early 30s with long brown hair.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
Armed robbery, Zillmere
Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Zillmere early this morning.
At around 2:15am a man entered the business on Handford Road armed with a handgun.
The man demanded money from a male staff member before fleeing the scene in the company of a second man, who had been waiting outside the store while the robbery occurred.
The two men were last seen running north along Hanford Road.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
One of the men is described as approximately 180cm tall and wearing a dark-coloured hoodie and jeans.
The other man is described as being approximately 170cm tall, of a solid build and wearing a dark hoodie with cream shorts.

Serious assault investigation, Surfers Paradise
Detectives are appealing for public assistances after the assault of a man outside a unit complex in Surfers Paradise this afternoon.
Around 4.50pm, a 56-year-old man was outside the Watson Esplanade residence when he was approached from behind and unexpectedly assaulted by an unknown man.
The victim was hit several times in the face and head with a metal pole.
At which point the man fled on foot onto Leonard Avenue and continued northbound on Watson Esplanade.
The man is described as Caucasian, solid build, in his mid-40s, wearing an orange hi-vis hoodie, a black and red cap, and blue shorts.
The victim was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Serious assault, Warwick – appeal for information
Warwick detectives are searching for a man who assaulted a woman at Warwick last night, October 2.
The woman stopped on the side of the road in Rose Street, between Horsman and Hawker roads at around 6.15pm when her vehicle, a white 1998 Nissan Patrol, broke down.
A man driving a white utility stopped in front of her vehicle and offered to help.
They worked under the bonnet of her vehicle for a short period of time before the woman walked to the rear of her car.
The man followed and slammed her head into the vehicle, knocking her unconscious before further assaulting her.
He then fled in his vehicle – a white single cab utility with silver tray back and sides.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged between 30 to 40, with a chubby build, short dark hair and full dark beard and was approximately 175cms tall.

Police locate stolen vehicle, drugs and stolen property – Labrador
Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol have arrested a man and woman after intercepting an alleged stolen vehicle and locating illegal drugs, including Methamphetamine and property suspected of being stolen at Labrador last night, October 2.
Around 7.45pm, police on patrol observed a suspected stolen blue Rav 4 with confirmed stolen plates enter an undercover carpark at Muir Street.
Police followed the vehicle into the carpark and blocked its exit. There were three people in the SUV and all were taken into custody for questioning.
A search of the vehicle allegedly located a significant amount of methampetamine, cannabis, alprazolam, a glass pipe, scales and a quantity of brand new condition cosmetics.

Serious assault police, Wulguru (Townsville)
Two people have been charged after an off-duty police officer was allegedly tailgated in his car before being assaulted in Wulguru yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged around 3pm the 27-year-old male constable was travelling in his vehicle along Stuart Drive when a white ute approached from behind at speed.
The male driver of the ute allegedly continued to drive closely behind, yelling and gesturing at the officer before pulling alongside him.
It is further alleged the male driver and his female passenger continued to verbally abuse the officer before veering in front of him and clipping the front end of his vehicle.
The ute then mounted the kerb and collided with a power pole at speed.
The driver of the ute then allegedly exited the vehicle and approached the officer who had stopped to call Triple 0, yelling further abuse before grabbing him.
A physical altercation ensued as the officer attempted to restrain the man,
Appeal for witnesses to traffic crash, Brassall
Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic crash in Brassall yesterday which left a motorcyclist seriously injured.
Preliminary information suggests around 2.50pm on October 1 a black Holden Viva hatchback collided with a motorbike at the intersection of Pine Mountain Road and Fernvale Road.
The 23-year-old male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
It is believed the female driver of the hatchback and a male passenger briefly exited the vehicle before getting back in and driving away westbound on Fernvale Road.
The male rider was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident or have dashcam vision of the area at the time of the crash to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Fatal traffic crash, Nanango
A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Nanango overnight.
Just before midnight police were called to the scene of the crash on the D’Aguilar Highway, near Bushnells Road.
Preliminary investigations indicate the car left the road before travelling approximately 50 metres into a nearby paddock and colliding with a tree.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Nanango man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.

Attempted murder charge, Acacia Ridge
Police have charged a man with attempted murder following an alleged assault in Acacia Ridge yesterday evening.
Officers were called to an address on Gemstone Crescent at around 7:20pm following reports a woman had been assaulted.
On arrival officers located an injured woman at the intersection of Gemstone Crescent and Gregory Street.
Police rendered first aid to the woman until paramedics arrived on the scene.
The 26-year-old woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition for treatment of stab wounds to her upper body and head.
A man, who was known to the woman, was taken into custody at an address on Gemstone Crescent without incident a short time later.
A 36-year-old Kingston man has been charged with attempted murder, assault occasioning bodily harm and enter dwelling with intent.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
