Detectives are appealing for any possible victims of extortion following the arrest of a member of the Black Uhlans Criminal Motorcycle Gang at Agnes Waters yesterday.
Police will allege the man attempted to extort funds from two Agnes Waters men over several weeks before assaulting them.
Both victims received bruising as a result of the assaults.
Police will allege that the man was a member of the Ayr chapter.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Anderson, Officer In Charge of the Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch said: “We believe there could be more victims and would encourage anyone who believes they have been a victim to contact police.”
A 41-year-old Ayr man has been charged with two counts each of extortion and assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Unlawful wounding, Surfers Paradise
Surfers Paradise detectives are investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed last evening, (Thursday, September 27).
Preliminary information suggests a 36-year-old Western Australian man met up with five people, four males and one female, around 7pm on the Esplanade, Surfers Paradise.
The group walked through the Cavill Avenue Mall and down to Leonard Avenue. A verbal argument then ensured during which time the man received three stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.
The victim obtained assistance from members of the public in Watson Esplanade and emergency services were called.
The man was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital in a serious condition.
Police conducted patrols of the areas, including establishing cordons and utilising Polair however the group was not located.

Update 2: Operation Trawler nets more drug arrests in Darling Downs
Darling Downs police executed 20 search warrants in the Toowoomba and Jondaryan areas over the last two days (September 26 and 27) arresting 25 people on 127 offences.
Some of which included:
One person changed with trafficking of a dangerous drug (cannabis)
One person charged with producing dangerous drugs
Three people charged with a combined 65 charges of supplying dangerous drugs
One person charged with possessing tainted property (cash)
Eight charges of possess a restricted weapon, including a laser pointer and an electric conducting device
Other drug charges relating to the possession of drug utensils and fail to dispose of needles and syringes.

Attempted murder charges after officer injured in Booval
Police have charged two teenagers with attempted murder after a constable from the Goodna Police Station was struck by a vehicle in Booval early this morning.
It will be alleged that around 5am, Constable Peter McAulay sustained serious head and internal injuries after being struck by a sedan that had allegedly been stolen from Sunnybank Hills on September 23.
The officer had just placed road spikes (stingers) over Brisbane Road to stop the vehicle before he was struck.
The vehicle allegedly continued to drive down Brisbane Road and turned into Vowles Street.
It will be further alleged that the two occupants fled the scene on foot but were tracked by a police dog and his handler and located a short time later.
Constable McAulay was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he underwent surgery earlier today for serious head injuries.
He remains in an induced coma in a critical condition in the intensive care
Update: Armed Robbery, Surfers Paradise
Gold Coast police have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery in Surfers Paradise in the early hours of this morning.
It is alleged just before 3am, a 25-year-old man was sitting in a rented Nissan XTrail at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Peninsula Drive, when a stolen 2005 Mitsubishi Magna – containing four men – parked in front of his vehicle.
One of the men entered the 25-year-old’s vehicle and allegedly threatened him with a knife.
The victim exited the car, where a second man stole his car-keys, iPhone and watch, before the two men drove away in his vehicle.
The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
A 29-year-old Southport man has since been charged with armed robbery in company and two counts each of fraud and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Investigations are continuing.

Operation Quebec Smoke to raise awareness of the ‘Fatal Five’.
Officers from Toowoomba will conduct a major multi-agency traffic operation throughout the Darling Downs District commencing tomorrow.
More than 100 staff from Queensland Police Service and the Department of Transport and Main Roads will take part in the operation.
Operation Quebec Smoke is designed to raise awareness of the ‘Fatal Five’, particularly leading into the spring holiday period, a period where significant numbers of crashes occur.
The Fatal Five – drink driving and drug driving, fatigue, inattention, seat belt use and speeding – are the most common killers on Queensland roads.
Police will conduct mobile patrols, establish Random Breath Testing and drug testing sites and will deploy speed cameras and Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology throughout the district.
“The goal of this operation is to educate the public and get them thinking about the Fatal Five during a busy period on our roads,” Inspector Sharee Cumming, Darling Downs District said.

Stealing and robbery, Logan
Police have charged a woman after she allegedly robbed and stole from taxi-drivers in two separate incidents at Logan.
Around 10.45pm on Sunday September 16, the woman booked a taxi to pick her up from an address at Borambil Road, Shailer Park.
When the driver arrived, the woman and two men entered the vehicle and the driver began the journey to her requested destination at a service station on Loganlea Road, Loganlea.
During the journey, it will be alleged that the woman became aggressive, verbally abusing the driver and pushing the back of his seat.
Once at the destination, the driver exited the vehicle and called Triple 0. It will be alleged that the woman and her two friends stole money from inside the vehicle, before fleeing on foot northbound on Loganlea Road.

Update 2: Fatal traffic crash, Eight Mile Plains
Forensic Crash Unit officers investigating a fatal traffic crash at Eight Mile Plains on May 15 this year are appealing for the owner of dashcam vision that was supplied to Crime Stoppers to please come forward.
The vision was captured by a dashcam in a car travelling north on Logan Road at 9.39am at the intersection prior to the crash.
This vision has proved vital for investigators and although police appreciate Crime Stoppers is an anonymous way to provide information, in this instance police would like to speak with the person who sent in the video.
At 9.40am a Honda Civic travelling north in the southbound lanes of Logan Road collided with a Hyundai sedan travelling north on Logan Road as it attempted to turn right near Levington Road onto the Gateway Motorway.
The driver and sole occupant of the Hyundai, a 22-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Update – Armed robbery appeal, Bundaberg
Detectives investigating multiple robbery incidents in Bundaberg have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The 28-year-old man is alleged to have entered a Tallon Street address on September 16 around 4.05pm and stole a white Ford Territory.
It will further be alleged he threatened a man walking on Water Street with a handgun demanding his wallet and phone.
The man is also believed to have been involved in a number of robbery incidents across Cavalos, Welcome Creek and Gooburrum and Bundaberg South area where vehicles including utilities, trucks, quad bikes have been stolen.
Detectives would like to speak with the man in relation to two dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle evade police and burglary incidents.
A 29-year-old Kalkie man has since been charged over the alleged incident on September 16.

Update – Dangerous operation of a motorcycle, Springwood
A 31-year-old Waterford man is assisting police with inquiries following a public appeal to identify a motorcyclist who performed a burn-out at the Springwood Police Station.
Around 5.20pm on Thursday September 13, a male rider dangerously operated his motorcycle in the driveway of the Pacific Highway station.
While performing the illegal manoeuvre the man fell from his motorcycle, before climbing back on and riding away.
The man is currently being treated for a knee injury sustained during the fall.
It’s believed he was wearing Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) colours at the time however, investigations revealed the man is not a member of an OMCG.
Officers had appealed for public assistance to identify the man and would like to thank members of the public for their valuable assistance.
