Update: Escape custody, Dalby

Police have located and charged a woman who allegedly escaped custody at Dalby Magistrates Court on July 11.
It will be alleged the woman had just attended sentencing around 12.25pm and was given permission to attend the restrooms before she allegedly fled.
The woman was located at 8.20pm today at a house in Sydney Street at Jandowae.
A 30-year-old Dalby woman has been charged with one count each of escape by persons in lawful custody, stealing (police handcuffs), produce dangerous drug (cannabis), possession of explosive (bullet) and possession of utensil.
She will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 17.

Robbery with violence, Nambour

Sunshine Coast detectives are investigating after a jewellery store was robbed in Nambour this afternoon.
Around 3.45pm, a man entered the business on Lowe Street and requested to look at a gold chain that was for sale.
When the female store attendant handed him the chain, he fled on foot and the woman chased the man to a carpark near an automotive store nearby.
The woman and the man then wrestled over the chain, and the man then fled to a red Toyota Camry that was parked in the car park.
Two men who were nearby ran to the car to help and tried to pull the man from the car and, during the altercation the man slammed the car door on of the mens arm.
The man in the car then alluded to the fact that he had a gun threatened the pair before he drove from the scene.

Multiple burglary charges, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast

Police have arrested a 32-year-old man following investigations into more than 40 burglaries at high rise apartments on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast in the past two months.
It will be alleged between May and July, the man scaled high rise complexes and broke into apartments through unlocked balcony doors at high rise properties in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads, Southport, Biggera Waters, Burleigh Heads, Golden Beach, Maroochydore and Alexandra Headland.
It will be further alleged he stole cash, wallets and other items and made various purchases using stolen bank cards.
Detectives from Taskforce Latro arrested a 32-year-old man at Miami on the weekend.
The man has been charged with 49 counts of burglary, 16 counts of fraud, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of stealing and one of entering a premises.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
Investigations are continuing.

Assault, Forest Lake

Police are investigating after a woman was dragged from her vehicle and assaulted by two women who then drove off in her car early this morning.
Initial inquires indicate at 2.10am a 33-year-old Mt Gravatt woman parked her car in a carpark on College Avenue, at her workplace.
Two females have approached her car and opened the door before assaulting her and dragging her from the car. She was punched in the face a number of times before the females then drove off in her car.
The first female is 17-19yrs, Caucasian, slight build, about 168cm tall with short curly hair.
The second female is described as early twenties, Caucasian, slight build and about 168cm tall.
The stolen vehicle is a 2011 silver hybrid Toyota Camry Queensland registration 649SCQ.
The victim has been transported to QEII Hospital with cuts and abrasion to her face.
Police are appealing for anyone with further information or dashcam vision of the area

Armed robbery, Wavell Heights

Cigarettes and cash were stolen during an armed robbery of a Wavell Heights convenience store this evening.
Around 6.35pm a man entered the Shaw Road business threatening a 64-year-old male employee with a knife before fleeing on foot.
The man was last seen running on Vale Street where it is believed he entered a vehicle driven by an unknown person. A dog was also believed to be in the vehicle. No further descriptions are available.
The man is described as approximately 175cms tall with a proportionate build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black sunglasses, red bandana and gloves and long black trousers. He was carrying two black shopping bags.
Anyone with any information, or any residents / businesses in the vicinity with CCTV, are asked to contact police.
No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.

Suspicious fire, Caboolture

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that damaged a Caboolture dry cleaning business this afternoon.
Police were called to the King Street business just around 2.40pm after a fire had been spotted at the rear of the premises.
It is believed the fire was deliberately lit and a crime scene has been declared.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any information which could assist with the investigation to contact them.
Two neighbouring businesses also sustained some damage. No one was injured and police investigations are continuing.

Fatal traffic crash, Kippa Ring

A 17-year-old man has died following a traffic crash in Kippa Ring overnight.
Police were called to Kurumba Street with reports of a single vehicle motorcycle crash around 12.20am.
Paramedics attempted to revive the man but he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is yet to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash and is appealing for anyone with footage of the motorcycle in the area or information about the incident to contact police.

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at Caboolture early this morning.
At about 3am, a man armed with a knife entered a petrol station on Lower King Street and demanded cash from a male staff member.
The man fled the scene a short time later on foot with a quantity of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as Aboriginal in appearance, 180cm tall, solid build and black hair.

Dangerous driving charge, Browns Plains

Police have charged a man following the alleged ramming of two vehicles in a restaurant drive through at Browns Plains tonight.
It will be alleged about 9.45pm police observed a stolen BMW enter a drive through at the Browns Plains Road business.
Police approached the vehicle on foot and the driver of the BMW has rammed a Toyota sedan that was stationary in front of him in the line. The Toyota was forced into a garden and the BMW then rammed a stationary and unoccupied police vehicle which was blocking the exit for the drive through.
The BMW was unable to exit and police arrested the driver and sole occupant of the car.
It will be further alleged the vehicle was stolen sometime Friday night  or early Saturday morning from a house in Goodna.

Update: Armed robbery, Labrador

Police have released vision in relation to the armed robbery of a man at Labrador on June 30.
Around 10pm, a 19-year-old man was walking towards his parked car on Billington Street, when he was approached by four males.
One of the males was armed with a knife and demanded the 19-year-old’s wallet and car keys.
The four males then entered his car and drove away.
The 19-year-old was not physically injured during the incident.
The stolen vehicle (pictured) is described as a black, 2006 Holden Commodore sedan, with red and black interior seat covers. It was bearing distinctive blue and white registration plates “DJT 098” at the time of the robbery.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, or the whereabouts of the vehicle, to contact them.
