Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man and woman who may be able to assist investigations into an incident at a licensed venue in Rockhampton last night.
At about 11.50pm a man and woman entered a licensed venue on Bolsover Street and became involved in a verbal altercation with a 42-year-old male staff member.
The man has then produced what is believed to be a replica handgun and pointed it at the staff member and pulling the trigger.
The man and woman have then left the licensed venue through the carpark towards Alma Street.
The man is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, mid 30’s, about 170-180cm tall with black facial hair. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jumper and black ¾ shorts, red shoes with white socks.
The woman is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, about 160cm tall, proportionate build and was seen wearing a grey hoodie,

Fatal traffic crash, Deuchar
A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Deuchar yesterday.
Around 10.45am, a white 4WD Jeep travelling on Warwick Allora Road collided with a tree.
The sole occupant of the car, a 57-year-old Allora man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Anyone travelling on Warwick Allora Road between 9.45am-11am on Sunday, January 19 and saw a white Jeep travelling towards Allora or has dashcam is urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Dangerous driving and property charges, Nambour
Sunshine Coast detectives have charged a 30-year-old man with multiple offences following the unlawful use of a motor vehicle on the Sunshine Coast yesterday afternoon (January 19).
At about 1.30pm an off-duty police officer saw a stolen silver Holden Commodore driving along Nambour Connection Road towards Yandina and notified police.
Police followed the car onto the Bruce Highway which continued onto a dirt track between the highway and Nambour Connection Road at Kulangoor.
Upon arrival the driver of the sedan reversed into the passenger side of a marked police dog squad car three times. No officers were injured during the incident.
The car then drove forward and became stuck in mud. The driver tried to reverse numerous times without success and refused to get out of the car.
Police approached the car and the man was taken into custody without further incident.
He has been charged with five counts of stealing, four counts of unlawful use
Attempted murder charge, Harlaxton
A woman has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged wounding in Harlaxton on Friday, January 17.
Around 1am, an alleged altercation occurred between a man and woman at a Harlaxton home.
A 37-year-old Harlaxton man was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
A 22-year-old woman from Harlaxton has been charged with attempted murder (domestic violence offence) and is due to re-appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.

Robbery with violence, Rockhampton
Police are investigating a violent robbery during which a man’s car was stolen early this morning in Rockhampton.
Around 2am, a man was seated in his parked silver 2009 Toyota Aurion in Kern Arcade when he was approached by a man who opened the vehicle door and attempted to remove him from the vehicle.
A struggle ensued resulting in the driver being threatened with a knife before he fled from his vehicle.
The stolen vehicle was driven from the scene but located by police burnt out in the Gladstone area at around 6am.
The 76-year-old driver of the vehicle received minor injuries only as a result of the incident.
Police are looking for a man described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, 170cm tall, aged in his mid to late twenties, full black beard and wearing a black hooded jumper and long black pants.

Serious Assault, Gympie
Detectives have charged a 30-year-old man after the serious assault of a person over 60 in Southside yesterday morning.
Police will allege the man from Kia Ora attended a Luckona Court home just before 8am.
He is then believed to have smashed a window and attempted to gain entry to the house.
It will be further alleged the man assaulted another man at the address, before fleeing in a Toyota Hilux.
The 70-year-old was taken to hospital suffering from facial injuries.
The Gympie man has been charged with attempted enter dwelling by break, serious assault of a person over 60 and stealing.
He is expected to appear before the Gympie Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Arson charges, Dalby
Police have charged two men with arson after a structure fire in Dalby in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to a Drayton Street address at 12:40am and arrived to find an abandoned commercial store well involved.
The property was destroyed as a result of the fire and a crime scene was declared at 2:50am.
The pair were seen loitering across the street and were arrested at an Arthur Street address shortly afterwards.
Both men aged 23 and 24 have been charged with arson and are expected to appear before the Dalby Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Robbery with violence, Waterford West
Detectives are appealing for public assistance following the robbery of a 78-year-old woman at Waterford West this morning.
Around 8.45am the woman was waiting in her driveway on Bourke Street, when a man came out of a vehicle parked nearby, approached and grabbed her handbag.
The woman was pushed to the ground and as a result was transported to the hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the man left in a silver Toyota hatchback containing several people.
The property inside the handbag included a mobile phone, house-keys, prescription glasses and a small sum of money.
Detectives spoke with several witnesses and are appealing for anyone with any information to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.

Officer injured after stolen vehicle intercepted at Ripley
Police are appealing for public assistance after a Road Policing Command motorcycle officer was injured during the intercept of a stolen vehicle at Ripley yesterday morning.
Shortly before 10am, the senior constable was responding to reports of a stolen blue Mazda sedan travelling in Yamanto when it was observed parked on the side of the Cunningham Highway at Swanbank.
When the officer arrived, they noticed a utility had pulled up with the Mazda with its driver assisting two men and a woman with repairs to the sedan.
As the senior constable approached the sedan, the male driver of the sedan attacked him.
The officer deployed his taser, without success and was able to call for assistance from additional police.
The driver has then returned to the sedan and became involved in a struggle with the officer who was attempting to remove the keys.
The sedan then accelerated away at speed with two passengers inside the vehicle.

Unlawful wounding, Booval
Police have charged four people after a man was stabbed during an altercation in the car park of a licensed premise in Booval yesterday afternoon.
Around 4.15pm police attended at Alexandra Street following an alleged physical altercation between a group of people.
A 36-year-old man sustained a single stab wound to the side of his torso and was treated at the scene before being transported to the Princess Alexandra hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police conducted patrols of the area and arrested four people allegedly involved in the incident.
A 17-year-old North Booval boy has been charged with unlawful wounding and wilful damage.
Three men, aged 20, 22 and 24 from North Booval have also been charged with unlawful wounding and wilful damage.
They are due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on January 20.
